Longs Flooring is a local Chattanooga company who needed a web presence to sell their floor covering products. Tailored to the middle, working class rather than the upscale, high end market we came up with the name poorboys flooring.

This was a small business plan project that included design, web hosting and site changes/maintenance for one year.

The project, started in December 2003 was complete in January 2004 and is a good example of an online brochure type of web site.

With a name like poorboys we knew the site couldn't look all polished and fancy yet we didn't want the site to look cheap or technically off. So we used weathered wood samples to build the design and interface and used a custom scroller mechanism to give a high tech yet kind of grungy appearance to the site.
